The beach was as clean as could be but the water was not clear, no fault of the resort. They set up all day in the plaza with workers working tirelessly. The Fiesta Mexican night was really impressive with their fine attention-to-detail, and just the overall effort to put on such an extravaganza.
The lunch at the buffet was repetitive, and lunch in general was nothing special. The food at times was excellent, the French restaurant and the Spice restaurant were excellent. There were some noisy parts of the resort, and I would have been disappointed if we were situated in those locations as we are close to 60. We had rooms 61 both adjoining for our family. Our accommodations were just what we wanted: a quiet location in the more private part of the resort. The grounds and the pools were impeccable. It was on-point at every level, leaving one with the impression that they wanted us back, and that is probably the ultimate compliment as we may very well be. First, the service was incredibly gracious. The people there really seemed to care about our comfort and truly were dedicated to making our stay as pleasurable as possible.
